From a modest beginning in 1994, Usman Institute of Technology has now grown into a fully developed integrated engineering school. The guiding philosophy of the school throughout has been creation of knowledge, influencing Engineering practices and integrated globally. The objectives of imparting education, combined with creation, dissemination and application of knowledge are being met in an integrated form, to create a synergetic impact.

The Institute fosters and nurtures leaders capable of making difference in the professional and non-professional sectors. It inculcates human values and professional ethics in the students, which help them make decisions and create path that are good not only for them but also are good for the society, for the nation and for the world as whole. To fulfill its mission in new and powerful ways, each member of the faculty strives to achieve excellence in every endeavour - be it education, research, consulting or training- by making continuous improvements in curricula and pedagogical tools.
Usman Institute of Technology that offers leading undergraduate and graduate programs namely B.E. Electrical (Electronic Engineering), B.E. Electrical (Telecommunication Engineering), B.E. Electrical (Computer Systems Engineering) and BS (Computer Science). In addition to this UIT also offers Master of Engineering (M.E.) and Master of Science (M.S.) programs in the fields of Industrial Controls and Automation, Communications and Signal Processing, Telecommunication Engineering and Computer Systems Engineering. Master of Science in Computer Networks and Communication, Software Engineering & Mobile Computing and Information Systems.

All these programs stands tall on the foundation of an excellent, committed and deeply knowledgeable faculty, innovative and unique pedagogical tools and an electric and diverse students community that has a burning desire to make new paths of its own.

At our campus, a number of clubs and societies cater for many interests and student activities from debate and drama competition to sports. All our academic and extracurricular activities are rooted in the real world, ensuring that our students gain relevant learning experience and knowledge that will put them at the cutting edge.
